Pancakes v2
Ingredients
- 3 ⅓ cups flour
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3 tsp kosher salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 ½ cups buttermilk
- 6 tbsp melted butter (cooled)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- In a large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the eggs, buttermilk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon; mix until smooth.
- Let the batter rest in the bowl for 30 minutes. (This resting time ensures the batter is thick and the pancakes are extra fluffy. DO NOT SKIP.)
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
