Korean Ground Beef & Rice
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (90%)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 cups white rice (hot, cooked)
- green onions for garnish
- sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and garlic over medium heat until beef is no longer pink.
- In a small bowl, whisk brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes, and pepper. Pour over the ground beef and let simmer for another minute or two.
- Serve over hot rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
