Almond Crescents

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅔ cups whole almonds
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Finely grind almonds in blender or food processor.
  3. Mix flour, sugar and almonds.
  4. Beat in butter and vanilla till the mixture cleans the bowl.
  5. Refrigerate one hour or overnight.
  6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
  7. Bake 12-15 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet until light brown.
  8. Cool on pan for 8-10 minutes.
  9. Roll in powdered sugar. Cool.
