Almond Crescents
Ingredients
- 1 ⅔ cups whole almonds
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Finely grind almonds in blender or food processor.
- Mix flour, sugar and almonds.
- Beat in butter and vanilla till the mixture cleans the bowl.
- Refrigerate one hour or overnight.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
- Bake 12-15 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet until light brown.
- Cool on pan for 8-10 minutes.
- Roll in powdered sugar. Cool.
