Creamed Pearl Onions and Peas

Ingredients

1 1/2 Cups pearled onions pealed (about 1 bag)
1 Cup frozen peas
1 Cup milk
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp butter
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place onions in saucepan. Cover with water and boil until tender, about 10 minutes.
  2. Drain out the water.
  3. Add peas, milk, cornstarch, butter, salt and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  5. Serve when sauce and vegetables have reached desired consistency.
