Creamed Pearl Onions and Peas
1 1/2 Cups pearled onions pealed (about 1 bag)
1 Cup frozen peas
1 Cup milk
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp butter
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
- Place onions in saucepan. Cover with water and boil until tender, about 10 minutes.
- Drain out the water.
- Add peas, milk, cornstarch, butter, salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Serve when sauce and vegetables have reached desired consistency.
