1 stick butter
1 Cup sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 Cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
walnuts finely chopped
- Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.
- Add flour, baking soda and salt gradually.
- Make into a roll and refrigerate overnight.
- Cut into 1/8 - 1/4 inch slices.
- Brush cookies with egg-white.
- Sprinkle with chopped nuts and then cinnamon/sugar mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
